In a vivid memoir of her travels with her husband in their 1948 Beechcraft Bonanza, Marily Cochran Mosley tells her story of their almost three months of flying 10,000 miles from England to Australia in the World Vintage Air Rally. The year was 1990. Twenty-four pre-1950 airplanes started out, eleven finished. The occasion was to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the first single engine light aircraft flight from the United Kingdom to Australia.
